Generation Amazing

Generation Amazing (GA) is a programme that was initiated in 2010, after Qatar successfully won the bid to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup™. GA aims to use football, as a means to empower the youth, as well as, inspire positive social changes in the community

GA supports ongoing social development programmes, strengthening football infrastructure from grassroots level, staging football for good festivals and engaging young change makers, advocates and youth ambassadors.

Locally, GA works together with the Qatar Football Association (QFA) to contribute in building a healthy society, bringing people together, encouraging understanding between different cultures and making the world a better and more inclusive place.

Globally, GA collaborates with leading actors, teamed up with NGOs, football associations, clubs and football for good foundations, as well as, GA's founding organization Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.

The strategic direction of GA is in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, since GA's ultimate objective is to use sports as a tool for lasting social change. This is clearly visible as GA has instigated positive social change on and off the pitch, by promoting peace, encouraging cooperation across all cultures, as well as supporting good health and well-being.
