    Asian Cup 2027

    QFA hopes to bring glory to Qatar, by bidding for the Asian Football Confederation Asian Cup in 2027. Ten major stadiums, with a minimum capacity of 20,000, and at most with a capacity of over 35,000, will be at the disposal of the Asian Cup. These facilities will be equipped with air-cooling technology that opens a year-round window for sporting and football tournaments.

    Social Responsibility

    Social responsibility is a central pillar to the Qatar Football Association (QFA) vision and mission.  As a result, QFA, focuses on developing the local community via social programmes and projects by:

    • Capitalizing on football as a fundamental socioeconomic and cultural pillar within the local community
    • Engraining football culture, sports education, sportsmanship, and associated positive values among all community members
    • Initiating social, cultural, and educational programmes related to football which focus on children and teenagers to nurture a football-loving generation
    • Driving a sports culture in the community to rally people behind Qatari football and national teams
